Thanks for your interest, but I'm not looking for any collaborators or contributors at the moment. I should be able to post more frequently and regularly by the end of this month. Hi Markiza. I think what you said is certainly true. But I don't see why you thought this video is suggesting that there are no advantages to the educational system. Perhaps the post title sounds a little anti-school. However, all this guy said is that our schools need to give creativity the same importance as literacy.

@Weedy, what strikes me is the clarity and eloquence with which he expresses what’s fundamentally wrong with our education systems.

@harishkrishnan, thanks for dropping by. It’s always unfortunate when kids are not allowed to realize their true potential so that they grow up to be employable and marketable. However, what’s increasingly being observed even in India is that people graduating from the best institutions are not finding great jobs unless they do masters or mba. Something is clearly wrong and excelling at academics is no more a guarantee for success. Our schools should understand this sooner than later and realize that there is more than mathematics and science to a sound education.

So very true. We couldnt do what we dreamt of as children. We should not let this happen to our kids.

Very Inspiring. Our education stress on living physically well(survive), not mentally. In India at least there is so much emphasis on competition that the general output has been a set of rule book following crowd and nothing more.
